I started as an entrepreneur while attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. While studying computers, I started to spend more time in the college of business and was instantly hooked on how to leverage my ability to code to solve problems that exist in the world. I then started to work with startups and eventually led a startup consulting firm as well as working at a venture capital firm.
After graduation, I had a short stint in consulting before leaving it all to work full-time on my startup, Orali Health (formerly Vitrix Health). Our goal was to improve the access to adequate oral health using machine learning to allow any minimally trained medical professional to screen for oral diseases and refer intelligently when a problem was found. We got into the top accelerators from HAX where we moved to Shenzhen, China to prototype and set up the supply change for the hardware part of our medical platform to Health Wildcatters where we implemented our platform in various clinics around the world. At Orali Health, I got to work with some kick-ass people from the Dean of Harvard Dental as well as the Medical Informatics Director at Nasa while traveling from China to India to Hong Kong and Macau. Our proudest moment was getting our AI Algorithms to win 1st place at AI Med.
Currently, I help with Product at Cloudflare while getting my Master’s in Computer Science at the University of Texas at Austin. Outside of work, I am an avid reader, machine learning enthusiast, and am always looking for new things to learn. If you want to talk, please reach out to me below!
